Call for donations for cyclone victims in Nampula (Mozambique)
In the period from 09 March 2025 to 11 March 2025, the city of Nampula in the Mossuril district of Mozambique was hit by the devastating Cyclone Jude, which reached wind speeds and gusts of up to 195 km/h. This was the third storm within four months, which affected a total of 9,525 people and led to the destruction of the buildings. The situation is extremely critical, the districts have no land connection, bridges have been destroyed or are in a dangerous situation. About 1200 health facilities have already been destroyed.
Many people have lost their homes, roads are impassable, and the need on the ground is very great. Children who have lost not only their homes, but often also their relatives, are particularly affected.
With your donation we can help these children! The funds are urgently needed for food, medical care, clothing and duvets to provide them with protection and warmth.

Welcome to Kochukuro e.V.!
We are a small, colorful group of currently 13 active members, five of them in Mozambique.
We come from very different professions, but what unites us is the will to help the children and young people in the homeland of Maria de Fátima, our association founder and chairwoman, to a better life and opportunities for education in the 21st century.
We are committed to the construction and operation of a school in northern Mozambique on a voluntary basis.We want to help people help themselves and, above all, give children and young people a better chance to start their lives.
Donations and energy are therefore always welcome and we say in the name and language of these children:

Icaca School
On this property, directly on the Indian Ocean,
the new Icaca school in Mossuril is being built.
Teaching
School lessons currently take place outdoors and the children collect wood for the cooking area.
